Nuclear Medicine Physician

ChristianaCare is seeking a full-time Board-certified/eligible Nuclear Medicine Physician to join their growing team. This hybrid role involves both onsite and remote scan interpretation, focusing on a wide variety of general nuclear medicine imaging studies and comprehensive PET/CT services. The successful candidate will also be involved in performing multiple radioligand therapies and participating in tumor boards and oncologic consultations.

Practice Info

• Hybrid model involving both onsite and remote scan interpretation

• Join a growing team of collegial full-time dedicated nuclear medicine physicians in the Section of Nuclear Medicine, Department of Radiology

• Utilize multiple PET/CT, SPECT/CT, SPECT, and solid-state cameras

• Provide comprehensive PET/CT services including F-18/Ga-68 PSMA, Cu-64/Ga-68 Dotatate, F-18 Fluoroestradiol, and F-18 Amyloid brain

• Perform specialized studies such as whole gut transit, salivary gland imaging, in vivo procedures (blood volume, renal GFR), and DXA scans

• Interpret a wide variety of nuclear cardiology scans including SPECT and PET/CT stress perfusion, PET/CT cardiac viability, PET/CT cardiac sarcoidosis and amyloid PYP studies

Responsibilities

• Interpret a wide variety of general nuclear medicine imaging studies

• Provide comprehensive PET/CT services

• Perform specialized general nuclear medicine studies

• Interpret a wide variety of nuclear cardiology scans

• Perform multiple radioligand therapies such as Lu-177 PSMA and Dotatate, liver-directed therapy with Y-90 microspheres, I-131 NaI, and Ra-223 dichloride

• Participate and collaborate in various tumor boards

• Provide nuclear oncologic consultations as part of multidisciplinary teams

• Teach cardiology fellows, interventional radiology fellows, radiology residents, medical students and nuclear medicine technology students

Compensation

Requirements

• Board-Certified/Eligible in nuclear medicine

• Currently holding or willing to obtain the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology

• Interested in clinical nuclear medicine including therapies

• Clinical experience in interpreting attenuation correction CT scans
