Director of Oncology Pharmacy and Infusion Services

ChristianaCare seeks a Director of Oncology Pharmacy and Infusion Operations to lead investigational drug services and oncology infusion pharmacy across our health system. This role oversees clinical pharmacy services for cancer care, investigational drug management, infusion center operations, medication safety, and regulatory compliance. The Director will drive quality, standardize practices, manage budgets and staffing, support oncology research, and collaborate with physicians, nursing, and research teams. The leader will foster a culture of excellence, innovation, equity, and continuous improvement in patient-centered oncology care.

Responsibilities
• Lead oncology pharmacy, investigational drug services, and infusion operations across the health system
• Oversee safe, effective preparation, dispensing, and monitoring of oncology and investigational therapies
• Ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance for pharmacy, research, and infusion services
• Partner with oncology, nursing, and research leaders to support cancer clinical trials and protocols
• Develop and implement quality, safety, and performance improvement initiatives
• Manage departmental budgets, staffing, and resource allocation
• Standardize workflows, policies, and technology to optimize infusion and oncology pharmacy operations
• Support education, training, and professional development of pharmacy and infusion teams
