ProHealth Partners is an established multi-specialty physician group and has been providing care to patients over the last 30 years. Our network includes over 250+ physicians in over 100+ clinics throughout the greater Long Beach, Los Angeles, Orange County, and Inland Empire areas.We are currently looking to hire a Medical Scribe in the city of Lakewood, CA. Experience in Gastroenterology preferred. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare providers by documenting patient encounters and ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping.Job Type: Part-time, Direct HirePay: $23-24 per hourHours: 20-25 hours per week, Monday-FridayResponsibilities:Document patient visits and interactions in real-timeManage and organize electronic health recordsAssist healthcare providers in streamlining workflow and enhancing patient carePrepare and update patient charts before and after appointmentsFacilitate communication between patients and healthcare providersAssist with follow-up appointments and patient inquiriesSupport the implementation of clinical protocols and workflowsLocate information for review (i.e., previous notes, reports, test results, and laboratory)Knowledgeable and proficient in medical terminologyRequirements:In school for an NP/PA/MD preferredCompletion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or Equivalent work experienceCPR certificationSome experience in Medical ScribeBilingual is a plus but not requiredBenefits:Paid sick leave401kEmployee Assistance ProgramEmployee Discount Program#9.1 MGProHealth Partners is an Equal Opportunity Employer
