Job Description
Position Overview: The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is responsible for building relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and supporting the scientific and clinical strategies for innovative allogeneic cell therapies.
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as a subject matter expert in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, cellular therapy, and immunotherapy, providing scientific insights and education.
• Develop and maintain peer-to-peer relationships with healthcare professionals, investigators, and stakeholders to ensure safe and appropriate product use.
• Manage territory plans, support clinical trial activities, and assist in investigator-sponsored research, ensuring scientific rigor and strategic alignment.
• Gather and communicate scientific data, competitive intelligence, and stakeholder feedback to inform medical and business strategies.
• Support medical education, advisory boards, congress presentations, and health outcomes initiatives, including real-world evidence and payer engagement.
• Provide training to commercial teams on therapies and disease states, and collaborate across functions to drive company objectives.
Qualifications & Skills
• Advanced degree in life sciences or related field (MD, PhD, PharmD, etc.) with industry experience as an MSL.
• In-depth knowledge of hematologic malignancies, stem cell transplant, CAR-T, and cell therapies.
• Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to interpret complex scientific data and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience
• 5+ years of industry MSL experience, especially in cell therapy or transplant fields.
• Experience with product launch, scientific exchange, and working in startup or biotech environments.
