MyMichigan Health, an affiliate of the University of Michigan Health, has an outstanding opportunity for a Hematology/Oncology Physician in Alpena, Michigan. Open to both practicing physicians and recent/new graduates.
MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena is looking to add a BE/BC hematologist/oncologist to its established Cancer service line in beautiful Northern Michigan. A busy practice including one other full-time physician. A second physician planning to retire in 2028. We offer on-site radiation oncology and experienced clinical staff and colleagues. Position would include some outreach work at MyMichigan Medical Center Tawas (2-4 days per month). Robust volumes and income potential with access to a comprehensive team of specialty care providers and services within the MyMichigan Health system. EPIC EHR.
• Schedule Traditional Monday through Friday with some flexibility
• Call 1:3 call
Requirements
• U.S. medical degree or foreign equivalent
• Board eligible or board-certified
• Completed a fellowship in hematology/oncology
• Must have or be eligible for an unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Michigan and a Controlled Substance License
Reason for Recruitment
One of two current physicians will be retiring in next couple years.
