Medical Oncologist - Locum Tenens Coverage

We are seeking a board-certified Medical Oncologist to provide inpatient and clinic coverage at a specialized cancer institute.

Responsibilities Include

Managing a caseload of 20-25 adult medical oncology patients daily, including new and follow-up cases.
Providing care within a dedicated team of six APPs and RN support.
Performing bone marrow biopsies under physician oversight; no additional procedures required.
Offering coverage during weekdays, with one weekend call per month and optional weekday call shifts.

Qualifications And Skills

Board certification in medical oncology.
Experience managing adult oncology patients.
Ability to work independently within a collaborative team environment.

Key Duties

Delivering high-quality outpatient and inpatient oncologic care.
Ensuring clinical workflows support coordinated patient management.
Participating in call coverage as needed.
