Medical Oncologist - Locum Tenens Coverage

This role is for a board-certified Medical Oncologist providing inpatient and outpatient care in a specialized cancer institute.

Responsibilities include: Managing 20-25 adult medical oncology patients daily, primarily focusing on medical oncology treatments, excluding bone marrow transplants and acute leukemia.
Work environment: On-site in a facility supporting inpatient and clinic settings with a team of six APPs and RN physician support.
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, with daytime hours and call coverage required one weekend per month and potential weekday call shifts.
Key duties: Handling new and follow-up patient consultations, supervising APPs performing procedures like bone marrow biopsies under oversight, with no additional procedures expected.
Qualifications: Must be board-certified in medical oncology.
