Medical Oncologist

An exciting locum tenens Medical Oncologist opportunity is available in Beaufort, South Carolina, starting November 3, 2025, and providing ongoing coverage until a permanent provider is hired. The physician will see 7 to 15 patients per day in a hospital setting, working flexible days and hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This general medical oncology role features collaboration with one clinic advanced practice provider who will not be supervised by the locum physician.

Responsibilities

• Provide general medical oncology coverage

• See 7-15 patients per day

Compensation

• $400 – $430 hourly

Shift & Schedule

• Locums/Travel position

• Flexible schedule, 3/4 days per week

• Hours are 8a-5pm with 1hr unpaid lunch

• Requisition start date 11/03/2025, ongoing coverage until perm hired

Requirements

• Degree Required: MD/DO

• MUST have ACTIVE SC LICENSE IN HAND

• Must have clear background

• No visa sponsorship available
