Hematologist/Oncologist

An exciting opportunity is available for a Hematology/Oncology physician in Mount Pleasant, MI. This locums position involves outpatient clinic visits, inbasket coverage, and after-hours call coverage for established patients. Candidates will see approximately 25 patients per day utilizing EPIC and Dragon.

Practice Info

• Outpatient clinic

• Clinic volume approximately 25 patients per day

• Clinical support includes APP in Practice

• EMR and Dictation Tools: EPIC/Dragon

Responsibilities

• See patients in person or virtual from 8a-4p

• Inbasket coverage

• Telephone call only for established patients 4p-8a

Compensation

• Orientation rate: flat rate of $500 for 4 hours or less of orientation

• For orientations that go longer than 4 hours, the flat rate will be $1,000

Shift & Schedule

• Position Type: Locums/Travel

• Orientation: September 1, 2025

• Dates needing coverage: September 2 -5 and September 8 & 9

• Week Day Clinic: 8am- 4pm with telephone call only for established patients 4pm - 8am

Requirements

• Degree Required: MD/DO

• BC/BE

• BLS

• Case Logs: 24 patients with illness related to the practice of Hematology within 12 month

• MI license only due to tight turnaround

• No visa sponsorship available
