Job Description

TSV is partnering with one of the nation's largest value based healthcare companies to hire a
Medical Oncologist. Seeking a Board-Certified Medical Oncologist to join a growing multidisciplinary cancer care team. This position is ideal for a generalist who treats a broad range of malignancies and is passionate about delivering accessible, high-quality cancer care in a community setting.





The Oncologist will serve as a clinical and community leader—providing expert, evidence-based care while helping to build and expand the cancer center’s presence and reputation. This role combines clinical excellence with practice development, patient engagement, and collaboration with referring providers to strengthen access to comprehensive oncology services.





Responsibilities:


- Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of adult patients with solid tumors and hematologic malignancies.
- Deliver oncology care through a hybrid model of telemedicine and in-person visits
- Manage the full course of oncology care including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and supportive care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including surgery, radiation oncology, radiology, and pathology—to deliver coordinated and individualized patient care.
- Participate in tumor boards and multidisciplinary case reviews to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families about diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment options in a clear and compassionate manner.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record and ensure compliance with all applicable clinical, legal, and regulatory standards.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, clinical guideline development, and programmatic growth within the oncology service line.
- Lead community outreach initiatives, including presentations, screenings, and partnerships with local physicians and organizations to promote cancer prevention, early detection, and education.
- Engage in business development activities by building strong referral relationships, representing the practice at local events, and collaborating with hospital and marketing leadership to drive patient volume growth.






Qualifications:


- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board Certification in Medical Oncology (and/or Hematology) by the American Board of Internal Medicine
- Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) or willingness to obtain is required
- Active, unrestricted medical license (or eligibility) in the state(s) of practice
- Minimum of 3–5 years of post-fellowship clinical experience preferred.
- Demonstrated experience managing a broad range of solid tumor and hematologic malignancies.
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care, quality outcomes, and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to foster collaboration in a multidisciplinary team.
- Prior experience in a community-based oncology practice or multi-site cancer care delivery model preferred.
- Familiarity with value-based care models and evidence-based clinical pathways a plus.
