Description
Family Medicine Physician for Urgent Care in Fresno, CA
Position Title: Urgent Care Staff Physician/Medical Directorship
1099 Model or Sole Proprietor: Full-Time and Part-Time
Salary: $150/hour plus Malpractice with Tail
Sign-On Bonus: $100,000
Medical Director Stipend: $60,000/year
About Us: We opened our doors in 2012 in Bakersfield, CA. We have expanded our brand and services throughout Bakersfield, Fresno, Clovis, Chino, Lake Elsinore, Menifee, Wildomar, Murrieta, Temecula, and Los Angeles. We have 16 clinic locations throughout Central and Southern CA to serve your urgent care needs, and we will have 19 clinics by the end of the year. Key Responsibilities:
- Urgent Care Medicine, practicing twelve-hour (12) shifts with a 1-hour break.
- Full-time is 12 shifts per month, 2 on-call shifts per month, and managing up to 4 mid-level providers.
- Treat 4 patients per hour, from newborns to geriatrics (full-spectrum care), in a low-acuity setting.
- Bread & Butter Procedures: I&Ds, Toenail Removal, and Laceration Repair.
- Equipment: In-house Point-of-Care testing and X-ray.
- All X-rays are over-read by a Board-Certified Radiologist
- Results available within 20 minutes for routine orders.
- Easy-to-use EMR: VelociDoc with Dragon dictation; document patients in 1 minute.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Medical Degree (M.D. or D.O)
Completion of a formal Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine Residency Training Program
Truly Board-Eligible or Board Certified
CA Medical License that is active and in good standing
DEA Certificate
