Mammography Technologist (Breast Center)

Role Overview:



Seeking a



Mammography Technologist



dedicated to providing exceptional patient care within a Breast Center. Responsibilities include preparing patients and equipment, performing diagnostic imaging procedures independently, and ensuring quality control. The role involves working at a specialized facility with digital mammography, ultrasound, biopsies, and other breast imaging services.



Qualifications & Skills:





- Associates or Trade School diploma in relevant field
- Certifications such as RTR, CT, MR, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES; IEMA (excl MRI) for Illinois
- Preferred experience of 2+ years in mammography or related imaging modalities
- CPR and IV therapy certifications are advantageous
- Ability to perform studies independently, including portable and on-call exams





Key Duties:





- Prepare patients and imaging equipment
- Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures accurately
- Maintain quality standards and safety protocols
