Job Description
Seeking an outpatient adult oncology physician to provide locum tenens coverage with clinic hours from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday. The role involves seeing 10-15 patients daily in an outpatient setting, with occasional inpatient consults.
Required skills include expertise in head/neck, lung, sarcoma, and metastatic cancers, with proficiency in SBRT for brain, lung, liver, and vertebral bodies.
Responsibilities include attending tumor boards for sarcoma, head/neck, and lung, and working with EMR systems like Cerner. The role involves day call approximately once per week, no weekend coverage.
Qualifications include relevant oncology experience and the ability to perform SBRT.
Compensation is competitive, with paid malpractice, pre-paid travel and housing expenses.
Additional support includes 24-hour access to a dedicated consultant and assignment management via an online portal.
