Job Description
Role
Outpatient adult oncology physician with inpatient consults, providing specialized cancer care in a clinic setting.
Responsibilities
Manage 10-15 active treatment patients daily, perform SBRT (brain, lung, liver, vertebral bodies), and attend tumor board meetings for sarcoma, head/neck, and lung cancers. Provide outpatient care with occasional inpatient consults, ensuring comprehensive cancer treatment.
Qualifications & Skills
Expertise in head/neck, lung, sarcoma, and metastatic cancers; proficiency in SBRT; experience with EMR systems (Cerner and Ambulatory Cerner); strong clinical judgment, communication, and collaboration skills.
Key Duties
Deliver outpatient oncology services during weekdays, participate in tumor boards, and support the multidisciplinary team. Maintain documentation and coordinate patient care efficiently.
