Locum Tenens Gastroenterologist Coverage

Role: Gastroenterologist for locum tenens assignments, providing clinical care in a hospital and outpatient setting.

Responsibilities: Conduct outpatient clinics with an expectation of 2 patients per hour, perform 1-5 inpatient consults and 1-3 procedures daily, and manage telephonic and in-person patient events. Required to perform gastroenterology procedures and handle light night call with non-emergent consults.

Qualifications & Skills: Proven experience in gastroenterology procedures, strong clinical skills, and ability to manage multiple patient interactions efficiently.

• Manage clinic and inpatient duties during standard weekday hours.
• Provide consults, procedures, and telehealth services as needed.
• Participate in light night call and ensure patient care continuity.

Additional Details: Compensation ranges from $335.00 to $425.00 hourly, inclusive of base pay and potential overtime, call, and holiday pay.
