We are seeking a Locum Tenens Hematology/Oncology Physician to provide outpatient coverage at a cancer center in Celina, Ohio.

Overview


• Patient Population: Adult and Geriatric

• Practice Setting: Outpatient Cancer Center

• Responsibilities: Provide outpatient hematology/oncology care, including patient evaluations, ordering and interpreting laboratory and imaging studies, prescribing treatments, and participating in tumor board discussions.

• Patient Volume: Approximately 13 outpatient visits per day

• Case Mix: 60% Hematology / 40% Oncology

• EMR System: Epic

• Support Staff: 1 APP; chemotherapy administration performed by Oncology Nurse

• Coverage Reason: Maternity leave coverage

• Credentialing: Providers will be credentialed for both Celina Medical Oncology and St. Rita's Medical Center.

• Weekend Requirements: None


Requirements


• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Hematology & Oncology

• Active Ohio Medical License (preferred)

• Active BLS Certification

• Clean background

• Availability to cover Monday–Wednesday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
