Pay & Benefits
- Hourly Pay Rate: $17.16/hr

What Youll Do
- Manage a patient caseload of 25-50 patients daily, handling conditions from birth to death
- Perform laceration repairs, suturing, and stapling of simple to complex wounds
- Conduct incision and drainage procedures, foreign body removals, and minor burn management
- Provide skin lesion care, orthopedic injury stabilization, splinting, and casting
- Interpret X-rays, EkGs, and perform point-of-care testing (e.g., rapid strep, flu, COVID-19, urinalysis)
- Manage epistaxis through nasal packing or cautery, cerumen impaction removal
- Support airway management with nebulizers and emergency stabilization
- Document thoroughly in Epic EMR
What You Need
- Required:
- Valid Physician Assistant license in Virginia
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Prior urgent care experience preferred
- Preferred:
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong procedural skills in suturing, I&D, splinting, and X-ray interpretation
