- Employment Type: Locum (potential for perm)
- License/Certifications: Active Nurse Practitioner license in VA required
- Experience: Prior outpatient Urgent Care experience preferred
Pay & Benefits
- Pay Rate: $14.74/hr

What Youll Do
- Provide urgent care services to a diverse patient population from birth to death
- Perform procedures such as laceration repairs, I&D, splinting & casting, and joint reductions
- Conduct diagnostic assessments including X-ray interpretations, EKGs, and point-of-care testing
- Manage minor burns, skin lesions, foreign body removal, and epistaxis
- Administer nebulizer treatments and initial emergency stabilization
- Document care accurately using Epic EMR system
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality patient care during high-volume periods
What You Need
Required:
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in Virginia
- Familiarity with outpatient urgent care procedures
- Ability to work independently and handle a variable patient flow
- Strong clinical skills in suturing, I&D, diagnostics, and acute injury management
Preferred:
- Urgent care or ER/Ward experience
- Experience working with Epic EMR
