Locum Hematology/Oncology Physician

Role Overview: Seeking a Medical Oncology and Hematology Physician for outpatient clinic coverage in a dedicated oncology and hematology practice. The provider will cover Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, including clinic call as needed, to fill a recruitment gap. This adult outpatient role involves managing 15-20 patients daily using Cerner EMR.

Responsibilities: Provide hematology and oncology outpatient care, participate in tumor board meetings, and collaborate with a support team comprising oncology RNs, medical assistants, social worker, dietitian, and nurse navigator. On-site services include an infusion center and CBC testing.

Qualifications & Skills: Minimum 2 years of experience in hematology/oncology outpatient care, with a current MI license. Key skills include outpatient hematology and oncology expertise, and participation in tumor boards.

Key Duties: Cover outpatient clinic, manage adult hematology and oncology patients, support the full team, and provide clinic call coverage. The practice offers a collaborative environment with comprehensive support staff and on-site services to ensure quality patient care.
