Company Description Community Concern LCSW Services, PC is a behavioral health practice focused on providing accessible, person-centered mental health services to individuals, families, and communities. Role Description The ideal candidate will possess a NYS LMSW/MSW will provide 10-20 hours (Tuesday - Thursday) face-to-face, contract-based social work services to clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting psychosocial assessments, developing plans, providing follow-up sessions and maintaining timely, accurate, and compliant documentation. The role involves coordinating care with other providers when appropriate, offering referrals to community resources, and following applicable legal, ethical, and regulatory guidelines. The LMSW/MSW is expected to participate in supervision with LCSW or consultation, engage in ongoing professional development, and use trauma-informed, culturally responsive approaches in all client interactions.
Qualifications
• Active LMSW or MSW degree from an accredited school of social work; eligibility for licensure or current licensure in the relevant state.
• Experience providing counseling services, including assessment, service planning, and intervention in a mental health or social services setting
• Knowledge of evidence-informed therapeutic approaches (e.g., CBT, solution-focused, motivational interviewing) and trauma-informed, strengths-based practice.
• Strong documentation, organization, and time-management skills with the ability to maintain accurate electronic health records.
• Comfort and proficiency with electronic platforms, basic technology tools, and communication practices.
• Demonstrated cultural humility, commitment to non-discriminatory, inclusive care, and ability to work with diverse client populations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to establish rapport and maintain professional boundaries.
• Willingness to participate in clinical supervision, adhere to NASW Code of Ethics, and follow state and federal regulations (including HIPAA).
• Previous experience in shelter services, transitional housing and community-based services.
