Litigation Associate – Defense

Location: California (Remote)

Compensation- Up-to $150k





We’re partnering with a well-established California defense law firm that is looking to add a Litigation Associate to its growing team. This is a great opportunity for an attorney who has
litigation experience in any practice area and is interested in developing expertise in
Lemon Law and automotive defense litigation.





Lemon Law experience is NOT required — the firm is willing to teach! If you have strong litigation fundamentals, a willingness to learn, and an interest in expanding your practice, we encourage you to apply.





What You’ll Do:


- Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents
- Conduct legal research and develop case strategies
- Handle discovery, depositions, hearings, and mediations
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties
- Work alongside experienced attorneys who will provide training and mentorship






What We’re Looking For:


- Active California Bar license in good standing
- 1+ years of litigation experience in any practice area
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Solid understanding of litigation procedures and case management
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Lemon Law or automotive defense experience is a plus, but NOT required
- Most importantly, someone who is eager to learn and grow






Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between [$120,000 – $150,000 annually]. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
