Lab Operations & Inventory Specialist

This is an on-site role in Fremont, CA 94538. Regular, Mon-Fri, 40 - 6 am-3 pm PST





We are seeking a Lab Operations & Inventory Specialist (Material Management) to support onsite inventory, warehouse, and procurement operations at our Fremont facility. This role is responsible for coordinating inventory movement, maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting engineering and logistics teams, and ensuring inventory accuracy through regular audits and counts.

Skills:


- Minimum of one year of inventory control, warehouse, logistics, or material management experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience using computers and business software applications.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Typing speed of at least 50 WPM.
- Proficiency with 10-key data entry

Duties:


- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure data integrity within inventory management systems.
- Receive, store, issue, and account for all inventory transactions.
- Order and expedite materials for Inventory Requests from Lab Service Engineers and Product Engineers.
- Monitor inventory dashboards and fulfill material requests.
- Maintain inventory room organization and housekeeping standards.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Perform cycle counts, physical inventories, and annual audits.
- Maintain accurate records across internal and external inventory systems.
- Participate in inventory optimization projects, 6S initiatives, material purges, and process improvement activities
- Occasionally work in cleanroom and lab environments.
- Wear required PPE and lab attire, including cleanroom garments, when performing duties such as wafer reclaim and material handling.
