Overview:

One of the nation's largest homebuilder is seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead the optimization, governance, and continuous improvement of critical business systems supporting homebuilding operations.





This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys both leadership and hands-on ERP administration. You'll work closely with operational stakeholders across the business, ensuring technology solutions support efficient workflows while minimizing disruption to day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:


- Lead a small team supporting ERP and housing applications.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for the company's ERP environment.
- Partner with business leaders to evaluate workflows and identify process improvements.
- Drive application enhancements, configurations, and system optimization initiatives.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable system solutions.
- Oversee ERP-related projects, upgrades, testing, and user adoption initiatives.
- Develop best practices, governance standards, and change management processes.
- Create effective relationships with stakeholders across operations, finance, construction, purchasing, and leadership.
- Utilize SQL to investigate issues, validate data, and support system improvements.
- Ensure technology decisions align with broader business objectives and operational efficiency goals.
- Mentor and develop team members while fostering accountability and ownership.






Qualifications:


- Experience managing ERP systems within the homebuilding, residential construction, or land development industry.
- Strong ERP administration, implementation, or optimization experience.
- Direct experience with Newstar strongly preferred.
- Experience with BuildPro and related homebuilding applications is a plus.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Demonstrated experience leading projects and influencing stakeholders.
- Ability to operate effectively in an evolving, ambiguity-friendly environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with Progress Software is a plus.






Compensation & Benefits:

- Base salary up to $140,000
- Annual discretionary bonus target of 20%
