Inpatient Home Infusion Pharmacy Technician in Philadelphia, PA

Join a specialized outpatient infusion pharmacy in Philadelphia as a Certified Pharmacy Technician dedicated to supporting patients receiving complex and life-changing treatments. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside a skilled team preparing IV admixtures for cancer therapies, multiple sclerosis, infectious diseases, dermatologic conditions, and other critical health needs.

Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Position Type: Onsite | Local candidates only

Schedule: MondayFriday, with 8.5-hour shifts

Pharmacy Hours: Open 6:30 am 7:00 pm; shifts vary between 8 and 12 hours based on operational demands

Compensation: $15$17 per hour, based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare sterile IV admixtures and infusion therapies in compliance with safety protocols

• Assist with the daily operations of the infusion pharmacy ensuring accuracy and patient safety

• Support preparation and dispensing of medications for outpatient infusion treatments

• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain inventory and proper documentation

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential or PTCB certification required

• Proven retail pharmacy experience required, with direct infusion pharmacy experience preferred

• Familiarity with IV admixture preparation is a strong asset

• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to patient safety

• Must reside locally in the Philadelphia area and be available to work Monday through Friday
