Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Indiana is seeking a Lead Medical Oncologist or Medical Oncology/Hematology provider for a full-time opportunity. This role offers an exceptional work-life balance featuring a 4-4.5-day work week, limited home call, and a practice setting that is 90% outpatient and 10% inpatient. Practice Info
• Comprehensive cancer center accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer
• 90% outpatient / 10% inpatient
• Approximately 80% Oncology/ 20% Hematology
• Established practice averaging 30+ new patients per month
• State of the art equipment including 1.5 Tesla MRI, Siemens Sequoia and Juniper for Ultrasound, and 128 slice CT scanner
• Well-trained & experienced APPs, nurse navigators and support staff
• Oncology clinic conveniently located near radiation oncology, infusion center, radiology services, and the inpatient unit
• Hospitalist team admits - Oncologist is consulting physician; low inpatient census
• ACGME accredited Internal Medicine and Psychiatry Residency Programs affiliated with Indiana University School of Medicine
• Epic and Abridge AI available to support efficient documentation
Responsibilities
• See solid tumor cases [breast, lung, colon, and prostate]
• Act as consulting physician with low inpatient census
Compensation
• Competitive compensation over $615K with bonus structure
• Quality bonus offered
• Loan Repayment: Negotiable
• Additional grant money and incentives may be available due to the approval of a rural health initiative for the state of Indiana
