Job Description
$150,000 Sign-on Bonus for External Candidates

OptumCare Cancer Care is actively seeking a Medical Oncologist to become part of our multi-specialty team. Help us shape the future of integrated, value-based cancer care. Our state-of-the-art 55,000 square-foot Cancer Center is located at the gateway to the Las Vegas Medical District, offering patients top-tier care across multiple locations in the Las Vegas Valley. Our services include medical oncology, surgical oncology, imaging, semi-private infusion bays, and breast care, alongside supportive services like palliative care and genetic counseling.
Position Highlights:
• Monday through Friday schedule
• Inpatient consults primarily involve established patients or those qualifying for our services, with team-based consultation management
• Manageable patient volume and shared call among the team, limited to one week at a time
• Utilization of Epic EMR for efficient documentation
• Collaboration within an integrated, team-based model that includes oncology advanced practice clinicians, breast care, and radiation oncology teams
Compensation & Benefits:
• Competitive compensation package comprising base salary, sign-on bonus, and quarterly bonuses
• Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, STD/LTD, malpractice insurance with tail coverage, 401k with matching contributions, relocation assistance, PTO, employee stock purchase plan, parental leave, and adoption assistance, along with 9 paid company holidays and one week of paid CME

Required Qualifications:
• M.D. or D.O. degree
• Board Certified / Board Eligible in Oncology or Hematology/Oncology
• Unrestricted license to practice in Nevada or ability to obtain one prior to employment
• DEA License or ability to procure prior to employment
The salary range for this role is $281,500 to $708,000 annually, affected by experience and performance metrics. Pay is based on various factors such as geographic location, education, and experience. In addition to salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package as well as other incentives.
