Key Responsibilities Include
• Providing expert hematology and oncology care to patients with a manageable caseload of 4-8 patients per shift.
• Supervising fellows in clinic three days a week and participating in inpatient consults and call coverage.
• Collaborating with a supportive team and specialists at a nearby academic medical center.
• Engaging in teaching and training residents and fellows, with minimal administrative restrictions on patient care.
Qualifications And Skills
• Medical Doctorate (M.D.), Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.), or MBBS with acceptable USMLE scores.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency or five years of specialized practice with case logs.
• Active medical license in at least one state, with others in good standing or voluntarily not renewed.
• Open to US citizens and non-citizens.
Benefits And Compensation
• Salary range of $335,000 - $350,000 plus potential incentives.
• Generous paid leave, including over 50 days and possible 12 weeks of paid paternity leave.
• Work schedule Monday through Friday, with flexible patient care and supervision duties.
• Opportunity to moonlight at local facilities for additional income.
• Malpractice insurance is not required.
