Locum Tenens Radiation Oncologist

Role: Outpatient adult oncologist with occasional inpatient consults, specializing in SBRT (brain, lung, liver, vertebral bodies) and managing cancers such as head/neck, lung, sarcoma, and metastatic disease.

Responsibilities: Provide outpatient oncology care, attend tumor board meetings for sarcoma, head/neck, and lung cancers, and deliver SBRT treatments. Manage 10-15 patients daily during clinic hours, with approximately one day per week of outpatient day call. Handle occasional inpatient consults as needed.

Qualifications & Skills: Expertise in head/neck, lung, sarcoma, and metastatic cancers; experience with SBRT; proficiency in EMR systems like Cerner; strong clinical and communication skills.

Key Duties: Conduct outpatient clinics, participate in tumor boards, perform SBRT procedures, and collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive oncology care.
