Job Description
ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Oncology-Kinston are seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Fellowship trained Hematology Oncologist to join their regional ECU Health Cancer Care Hematology Oncology team. The successful candidate will help grow a community-based general oncology practice while providing compassionate inpatient and outpatient care. New graduates and visa candidates are welcome to apply for this rewarding opportunity in eastern North Carolina.
Practice Info
• Regional ECU Health Cancer Care Hematology Oncology team
• Established practice of 3 physicians and 3 advanced practice providers
• ECU Health Oncology Kinston Cancer Center includes an infusion suite with 12 infusion spaces, 10 patient exam rooms, a team of experienced nurses and nurse navigators, and radiation oncology services
• Coverage includes caring for patients in Kinston, NC as well as a satellite clinic in nearby Richlands, NC
• Support from the ECU Health Cancer Center multidisciplinary team in Greenville, NC
Responsibilities
• Development of treatment plans for newly diagnosed patients
• Chemotherapy oversight
• Supervision of advance practice provider for follow up patients
• Participation in tumor board
• Rounding at local hospital
