Job Description
Seeking an experienced Gynecologist to join a well-established group practice in a coastal Southwest Florida location near Sarasota.
Role and Responsibilities: Focus solely on gynecology, with no obstetrics required. Provide comprehensive women's health services including annual wellness exams, pediatric and adolescent gynecology, contraceptive care, menopause management, hormone therapy, and premenstrual syndrome management. Handle a variety of gynecological issues and surgeries, educate patients and families, and manage a busy clinic environment.
Work Environment and Schedule: Practice in a freestanding office conveniently located to serve primary and secondary hospital areas. Anticipated call coverage is 1:2 for practice patients and 1:4 for emergency calls. The clinic operates five days a week.
Qualifications and Skills: Board-certified or board-eligible in gynecology, with experience and training in women's health. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting and manage a diverse range of gynecological conditions.
Compensation and Benefits: Competitive salary based on work relative value units (wRVU) plus incentives, with possible commencement bonus, CME/relocation allowances, and a comprehensive benefit package including malpractice insurance, vacation, 401(k), health, dental, and life insurance. Medical education debt repayment assistance may be available.
