Job Description
Henry Ford Health is seeking a full-time, board-certified Academic Medical Oncologist to join their busy, well-established hospital-based academic practice at Henry Ford Hospital Detroit and the Henry Ford Cancer Institute. The successful candidate will provide patient care, lead clinical trials, and contribute to the education of medical students, residents, and fellows in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. This role offers the opportunity to engage in cutting-edge research and clinical excellence within a premier academic health system.
Practice Info
• Hospital-based, academic practice at Henry Ford Hospital and Henry Ford Cancer Institute (HFCI)
• Established fellowship programs in both hematology oncology and gynecologic oncology
• Destination site for ambulatory cancer treatment, precision medicine, clinical trials and research
• Multidisciplinary clinical team including Research, Psych-oncology & Supportive Oncology faculty, and APPs
Responsibilities
• Lead clinical trials as the institution pursues an NCI cancer designation
• Provide medical care to patients
• Teach and supervise medical students, residents, and fellows
• Oversee advanced care practitioners
Shift & Schedule
• Full-time
Requirements
• Must be board certified in Internal Medicine
• Must have completed an ACGME/AOA approved Hematology/Oncology Fellowship program
• No visa sponsorship available
