Responsibilities
Key duties include:
• Providing genetic counseling and test coordination for patients
• Supporting clinical teams and referring providers
• Engaging in genetics outreach and education programs
• Participating in genetics program activities
Qualifications
Education:
• Master's Degree in Genetic Counseling or equivalent from an ABGC or ABMG accredited program
Work Experience
• Minimum of 1 year genetic counseling experience
• Preferred: experience in cardiology or clinical genetics
• Preferred: familiarity with Epic and Progeny software
Licenses And Certifications
• Board Certification in Genetic Counseling (ABGC) upon hire
• Genetic Counselor License for the relevant state upon hire
