About the Opportunity
MedStar Health is expanding its cancer service line in the Baltimore-Washington, DC region and is seeking an experienced Gynecologic Oncologist to join our MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center facility located in Baltimore, Maryland.
This is a unique chance to be part of and enhance the gynecologic oncology presence at MedStar Health, positively impacting the surrounding Baltimore communities.
As a member of the MedStar Georgetown Cancer Institute at Franklin Square, you will participate in NRG for gynecologic oncology clinical trials, as well as access additional cooperative group and industry-sponsored trials through our partnership with the Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center at Georgetown University Hospital.
In this role, you will provide expert consultation and treatment for women diagnosed with gynecologic malignancies, including uterine, cervical, ovarian, vulvar, and vaginal cancers. You will benefit from advanced surgical technology and work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team that fosters both clinical excellence and academic involvement. Opportunities for a clinical appointment with Georgetown University School of Medicine and to teach Georgetown Medical Students are also available.
Qualifications:
• MD or DO degree
• Fellowship training in Gynecologic Oncology
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Gynecologic Oncology
• Eligibility for an unrestricted medical license (specific jurisdiction to be determined based on final site location)
