Job Summary:
The Director of Cancer Center Operations is responsible for overseeing outpatient operations, ensuring high-quality and cost-effective medical services. This leadership role involves managing clinical performance, administration, and fiscal operations while identifying and solving organizational challenges. You will supervise Clinical Service Managers and other senior clinical staff, utilizing both professional discretion and independent judgment.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in business administration or a related field: Required
• Master's Degree in business administration, management, health care management, or a related field: Preferred
• Seven years of relevant technical experience: Preferred
• Three years of multi-clinic management experience: Preferred
Essential Functions:
• Collaborate with the site medical expense team to control costs for inpatient and outpatient services. Conduct regular meetings to address staff concerns and communicate the organization's mission.
• Work with senior staff to strategize on program expansion, business development, and innovative care models, focusing on quality improvement and cost reduction.
• Provide leadership and direction to managers and staff, overseeing the planning, budgeting, and management of the department to meet operational goals.
• Analyze complex data sets and reports, including financial and quality metrics, to inform decision-making.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
