UConn Health Community Network
UConn Health Community Network is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist specializing in Breast Imaging to join its growing community-based radiology program. This is a full-time hybrid opportunity, with part-time candidates also considered.
The position combines on-site breast imaging and procedures at community imaging locations with remote general diagnostic radiology for community hospital partners. The radiologist will also participate in weekend daytime general radiology call.
Position Highlights
• UConn community faculty appointment

• Screening and diagnostic mammography, tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI
• Image-guided breast procedures, including stereotactic and ultrasound-guided biopsy and localization
• Remote interpretation of general radiology studies, including CT, radiography, and ultrasound
• Weekend daytime general radiology call
• Collaboration with UConn breast imaging, breast surgery, oncology, and community clinical teams
• Opportunities for teaching and participation in multidisciplinary breast care
Qualifications
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency and Breast Imaging fellowship
• ABR board certification in Diagnostic Radiology
• Current MQSA interpreting physician qualification
• Proficiency in stereotactic and ultrasound-guided breast procedures
• Connecticut medical license or eligibility
• Eligibility for UConn community faculty and medical staff appointments
Experience with MRI-guided breast biopsy, contrast-enhanced mammography, ACR accreditation, or community-based/multi-site radiology practice is preferred.
