Job Description
Virtua Medical Group is seeking an experienced, fellowship-trained breast surgeon to join its well-established and growing breast surgery team at Virtua Health. This full-time, employed position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive surgical care for patients with benign and malignant breast disease within an integrated, multidisciplinary program. Located in Southern New Jersey with convenient access to major metropolitan areas, the role allows clinicians to focus on specialized patient care supported by advanced technology and a collaborative team.
Practice Info
• Integrated within the Penn Medicine; Virtua Health Cancer Program, providing access to a leading academic-affiliated oncology network and comprehensive cancer care
• NAPBC-accredited breast program supported by a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary team including breast radiology, pathology, plastic surgery, medical oncology, and radiation oncology
• Comprehensive, patient-centered care model with close collaboration among nurse navigators, genetic counselors, research coordinators, social workers, rehabilitation services, and home care teams to promote seamless continuity of care
• Shared breast surgery call with a two-week rotation among a dedicated team of breast surgeons
• Strong clinical support structure including two advanced practice providers, a nurse coordinator, and a dedicated surgical scheduler
• Well-established referral network supporting consistent case volume and continued program growth
Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive surgical care for patients with both benign and malignant breast disease
Compensation
• Starting base salary of $440,000 or higher, based on years of experience, specialty expertise, and overall qualifications
• Final compensation will be competitive and commensurate with the candidate's experience, credentials, training, and prevailing market conditions

• Fellowship trained in breast surgery
• Prior experience practicing as a breast surgeon
• Board certified or board eligible
