General Summary:
• The Coil Crate Builder is responsible for building crates according to the blueprint to get ready to be shipped out.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
• Identify and prioritize what work is to be performed
• Retrieve cut sheets for building crates
• Cut wood according to dimensions on cut sheets
• Assemble crates
• Place coils in crates ensuring quality and stability of the coil
• Measure and weigh crates for shipping purposes
• Stage coil for shipment
• Place crated coils on the truck for shipment
• Track in-process coils to see what might need crates

Job Qualifications:
• Forklift experience preferred (will certify in-house)
• Power tool experience is preferred (saws, nail guns)
• Blueprint reading skills
• The ability to understand and convert decimals and fractions
• Detailed oriented
• Able to work independently
• Computer skill
• Good communication skills

Salary: USD 13 - 16 per hour
