Clinical Research RN Supervisor
Multiple Openings | Multiple Specialties | Full-Time
A leading health system is expanding its clinical research program and is seeking experienced Clinical Research RN Supervisors to provide leadership and oversight across multiple research specialties.

About the Role
The Clinical Research RN Supervisor will provide day-to-day leadership and oversight for a team of clinical research professionals while helping ensure research activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and in accordance with study protocols, regulatory requirements, and health-system policies.
Responsibilities may include:
• Supervise, mentor, and support Clinical Research Coordinators and other research staff
• Provide clinical and operational guidance to the research team
• Oversee the day-to-day activities of multiple clinical research studies
• Partner with physicians, investigators, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Support study start-up, enrollment, implementation, and ongoing study activities
• Monitor study progress, enrollment, timelines, and team workload
• Assist with patient screening, enrollment, study visits, and other clinical research activities as needed
• Ensure adherence to research protocols, regulatory requirements, and health-system policies
• Promote consistent research practices, quality, and patient safety
• Identify operational challenges and help implement process improvements
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management of research staff
• Collaborate with research and clinical leadership to support program growth and new research initiatives
Qualifications
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Clinical research experience required
• Previous supervisory, management, or team-leadership experience preferred
• Candidates with experience as a Research Manager, Clinical Research Supervisor, or Lead Clinical Research Coordinator with direct reports are encouraged to apply
• Hospital or health-system experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of clinical research operations and regulatory requirements
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple studies, priorities, and competing deadlines
Candidates with a strong clinical background and progressive research leadership experience are encouraged to apply. Foreign-trained physicians with relevant clinical research and leadership experience may also be considered.
