As a Clinical Registered Nurse in the Bone Marrow Transplant Clinic, your insights and contributions to patient care will be valued at every step. Position Overview and Qualifications
In this role, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in alignment with departmental requirements and nursing standards. You will collaborate with medical providers and the entire care team to offer personalized, compassionate care while acting as a strong advocate for patients and their families. Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate patient condition at admission and during each shift, promptly identifying changes in status and reporting them.
• Carry out procedures, monitoring, and functions as prescribed by medical providers, ensuring thorough and timely documentation in patient medical records.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor patient responses, and take necessary actions in case of adverse reactions.
• Provide outstanding care by promptly addressing patient requests, anticipating needs, and delivering compassionate support.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, potential side effects, and follow-up care, ensuring clarity and understanding.
Required Qualifications:
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (diploma, associate's, or baccalaureate degree).
• At least six (6) months of clinical experience as a registered nurse.
• Current RN License in Texas or a Multi-State Compact License. If holding a Compact License, Texas RN License must be acquired within 60 days of hire.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment.
