Role Description The Clinical Program Director is a full-time, on-site role based in Oradell, NJ, responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and evaluation of clinical programs that serve children, adolescents, adults, and families. This role includes managing daily clinical operations, supervising and mentoring clinical staff, and ensuring adherence to regulatory, ethical, and quality standards. The Clinical Program Director will develop and refine program protocols, monitor outcomes, and collaborate with internal and external partners to expand services and improve care coordination. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting case reviews, supporting treatment planning, guiding clinical decision-making, and maintaining accurate documentation and reporting. The role also involves contributing to strategic planning, budget oversight for clinical programs, and fostering a culture of accountability, learning, and client-centered care.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Clinical Operations to manage workflows, supervise staff, ensure compliance, and maintain high standards of care.
- Candidates should possess Program Development skills to design, implement, and evaluate clinical programs, including establishing protocols and outcome measures.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Mental Health to guide evidence-informed interventions, support complex cases, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Clinical Trials and Medicine to interpret relevant research, integrate best practices into programs, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Graduate degree (e.g., MSW, PsyD, PhD, MSN, or related field) and appropriate clinical licensure or eligibility for licensure in New Jersey.
- Demonstrated experience in clinical leadership, staff supervision, and program management in a behavioral health or family services setting.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives.
- Commitment to ethical practice, cultural humility, and delivering inclusive, person-centered care to diverse communities.
