Clinical Pharmacist | New Lexington, Ohio

A clinical hospital pharmacist position is available on a 13-week contract starting October 13 in New Lexington, OH. This role requires coverage of varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, to support inpatient pharmacy operations.

Schedule:

• 40 hours per week

• Typical shift: 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM

• Weekend hours vary based on staffing needs

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive clinical pharmacy services in an inpatient hospital setting

• Manage pharmacokinetic dosing, particularly for vancomycin

• Oversee warfarin management and related anticoagulation therapy

• Utilize the electronic medical record system (EPIC) to document and verify medication orders

• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient medication therapy

Qualifications:

• Active Ohio Pharmacist license in good standing

• Minimum of one year inpatient hospital pharmacy experience

• Experience with pharmacokinetic dosing and anticoagulation management

• Familiarity with EPIC Willow Inpatient preferred but not required

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and variable shifts
