Clinical Nurse Apheresis

Role Overview:



This position involves providing direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards. The role emphasizes patient and family-centered care, education on managing illness, and ensuring safety and quality compliance. Nurses will develop and document individualized care plans, collaborate with the healthcare team, and assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and cultural considerations. The role is safety-sensitive, requiring constant alertness and safe work practices.



Responsibilities:





- Promote a healing environment and educate patients/families on care management, post-treatment needs, and medication use.
- Participate in activities supporting patient safety, quality, and regulatory standards; engage in professional development.
- Develop, implement, and communicate personalized care plans in collaboration with team members, patients, and caregivers.
- Utilize critical nursing skills for comprehensive assessment and evaluation of patient needs, considering individual preferences and barriers.





Qualifications & Skills:





- Minimum Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree; preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
- Experience: 2+ years preferred; recent RN experience required.
- Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN license.
- Preferred Skills: Strong IV skills, experience with Apheresis, Dialysis, or Vascular Access is helpful.
