Charge Nurse (RN), Med Surg Oncology

HCA Florida JFK Hospital, a recognized leader in providing comprehensive medical services, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Charge Nurse for our Medical-Surgical Oncology unit. This role is crucial in managing patient care and enhancing the functionality of our oncology department. The successful candidate will lead nursing staff and collaborate with physicians to deliver exceptional care to patients with various oncological conditions. This position reports directly to the Unit Manager and is pivotal in maintaining our standards of excellence in patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Responsibilities
• Supervise nursing staff and oversee patient care in coordination with medical staff
• Implement patient care plans and conduct assessments
• Handle administrative duties such as scheduling, maintaining accurate patient records, and compliance with healthcare regulations
• Provide training and support to nursing staff
• Ensure effective patient communication and education
• Administer medications and treatments meticulously, following appropriate protocols
• Engage in continuous quality improvement activities and enforce safety standards
