Job Description
The University of Miami Health System is seeking a fellowship-trained candidate for a full-time faculty position in Academic Radiology specializing in Breast Imaging at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level. The successful applicant will join a faculty of clinical radiologists providing leading-edge patient care across multiple regional facilities, including Jackson Memorial Hospital and University of Miami Hospitals and Clinics. This clinical educator track role offers an opportunity to participate in groundbreaking research, advance medical education, and collaborate with top-tier physicians in South Florida's only university-based medical system.
Practice Info
• Active clinical practice in both outpatient and inpatient settings
• Practice across multiple facilities, including Jackson Memorial Hospital and University of Miami Hospitals and Clinics
• High volume clinical services equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, including digital breast tomosynthesis units, contrast enhanced digital mammography, US units, stereotactic biopsy units, and 1.5 and 3.0 T magnets
• Staff off-site outpatient imaging sites as requested by the Division Director or Chair
Responsibilities
• Provide clinical imaging services, mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and intervention
• Participate in the teaching and advancement of diagnostic radiology medical students, residents, and fellows
• Supervise the performance of technical personnel
• Participate in the on-call radiology schedule
• Exercise quality assurance as related to the practice of breast imaging
• Assume administrative responsibilities related to the practice of breast imaging
• Participate in clinical research, journal club, and weekly multidisciplinary conferences
• Serve on Departmental and University committees as requested by the Chair

Requirements
• Medical Degree required
• Diagnostic Radiology Residency required
• Breast Imaging Fellowship required
• American Board of Radiology (ABR) Certified or Board Eligible required
• Florida Medical License or eligible required
• At least 1 year of dedicated subspecialty fellowship training in Breast Imaging required for competitive applicants
• Prior experience in a university faculty setting preferred but not required
• No J-1 or H-1B visa sponsorship available
