Job Title: Associate Scientist

Pay Rate: $30 to 35/Hr

Duration: 12 Months

Location: Darien, CT

Shift: 9 AM - 5 PM

Our client is a global industrial and consumer products manufacturer.

We are looking for an Associate Scientist.


- Collect samples and prepare hair swatches to perform methods adhering to a set procedure.
- Performs technical procedures to measure product performance on hair
with variety of lab equipment.
- Analyzes data, performs statistical calculations, and draws conclusions to substantiate claims.
- Documents work and writes reports on product evaluation in conformance with company policies and standards.
- Keeps laboratory consumables organized and stocked, assembling and dismantling instruments where necessary.
- Aids in the research and development of new methods and exploratory claims substantiation.
- Analyzes consumer insights and survey data to draw conclusions on new claims language and trends.
- Maintains and stores internal documentation in the company database.


Qualifications:


- College degree in a science-related field or equivalent laboratory experience.
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and File Explorer
- Ability to learn and develop comfort with various instrumentation software.
- Careful adherence to established procedures and proposed experimental design.
- Detail-oriented and manual dexterity when working with instruments
and samples.
- Demonstrating integrity in performing tasks to produce repeatable data.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
