Job Description

Cytotechnologist – CT *Day Shift 5x8s* We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cytotechnologist to join our team at our start-of-the-art hospital. In this role, you will be responsible for examining and analyzing cells and tissues to identify abnormalities or diseases. You will work with a team of pathologists and laboratory professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnoses to healthcare providers. Responsibilities: Prepare and analyze specimens, including fine needle aspirations, gynecologic, and non-gynecologic samples Perform high-quality cytological examinations of cells and tissues to identify abnormalities or disease Identify and document abnormal cells, and refer cases to a pathologist for further review as needed Maintain accurate and complete records of all cytology results Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure accurate and reliable results Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies, and troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as needed Adhere to laboratory safety and infection control protocols Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Cytotechnology or a related field Certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or equivalent Strong knowledge of cytological techniques and procedures, including fine needle aspiration and gynecologic and non-gynecologic sample analysis Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities For immediate consideration submit a resume or contact: MLee Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, Inc Cytotechnologist – CT *Day Shift 5x8s* We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cytotechnologist to join our team at our start-of-the-art hospital.
