RN - Oncology Infusion & IV Therapy Specialist

• Apply specialized knowledge in oncology infusion and IV therapy to provide expert patient care and make informed nursing assignments based on acuity and technical requirements.
• Foster positive relationships with patients, families, healthcare providers, and colleagues by demonstrating respect, integrity, empathy, and collaboration.
• Maintain a therapeutic and safe environment by adhering to safety protocols, reporting near misses, and supporting a culture of continuous improvement.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through certifications, advanced education, and participation in nursing leadership and shared governance.
• Collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient experiences and outcomes.
Education and Experience:
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent with at least five years of acute care experience if from a non-accredited program.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred or required within five years of hire; enrollment in advanced degree programs is encouraged.
• Completion and maintenance of area-specific certifications such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, or specialty credentials.
Licensure:
Active Registered Nurse license in accordance with regional nursing board requirements. This position is based in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest, offering a supportive and growth-oriented environment for nursing professionals passionate about oncology and infusion therapy.
