Join our dedicated team as a Fee Basis Anatomic Pathologist at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in San Francisco, CA!

The Department of Pathology is on the lookout for exceptional candidates to fill a temporary Anatomic Pathologist position. Ideal candidates will possess U.S. citizenship, an MD degree, a valid California (or other State) Medical License, and Board Certification in Anatomic Pathology.

Your primary responsibilities will revolve around surgical pathology and cytopathology. We seek professionals who exemplify outstanding character, professionalism, organization, and communication skills. Clinical duties will encompass sign-out responsibilities in surgical pathology, cytopathology including GYN, Non-GYN, and FNA specimens, frozen section coverage, FNA clinic, rapid on-site assessments, night and weekend calls, as well as presentations at tumor boards and interdepartmental conferences.

• Rate: $2,300
• Task: Frozen section and intraoperative consultation - Afterhours evening
• Rate: $150
• Task: Frozen section and intraoperative consultation - Weekend/Holiday
• Rate: $400
