Ambulatory Device Tech

Summary:

- Duration: 28-week assignment
- Monday-Friday 8a-4p (including 60-minute unpaid lunch break)


Responsibilities:

- Interrogate and program pacemakers and ICDs.
- Document and enter charges in EMR systems.
- Educate staff, patients, and families in electrophysiological monitoring.


Requirements:

- High School Diploma/GED.
- Minimum 2 years of healthcare experience.
- Experience in pacemaker/ICD interrogation and programming.
- Computer literacy.
- Strong verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.


Preferred Skills:

- Background in cardiac device technology, electrophysiology, cardiology, or MRI operations.
- Proficiency with EMR documentation and charge entry.
- Completion of an accredited program in cardiac electrophysiology technology or equivalent education and experience.
- Experience in cardiology/electrophysiology.
