As an Afterhours Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate hospice care for patients and families outside of regular business hours, including nights and weekends.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Triage patient needs over the phone until an in-person visit can be arranged.
• Respond urgently and appropriately to crisis calls from patients and families after hours.
• Conduct initial nursing evaluations to determine eligibility for hospice services within forty-eight (48) hours of referral when assigned.
• Perform afterhours visits, including admissions, death visits, recertification visits, and routine assessments.
• Identify and reassess the physical, psychosocial, emotional, and environmental needs of patients and families, no less than every fifteen (15) days.
• Document problems, set goals, and outline interventions along with patient/client responses to care.
• Adapt care delivery to accommodate diverse home environments, regardless of clients' age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition.

Required Qualifications:
• Current unrestricted RN licensure in your state of practice.
• Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Current CPR certification or the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year of clinical experience.
Compensation is based on various factors including local labor markets, education, experience, and certifications, with a salary range of $70,832 to $106,248 annually for full-time employment. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including equity stock purchase, 401k contribution, and various incentive programs (subject to eligibility requirements).
